In my opinion the Stockyard is one of the best restaurants in the area. I've been going there since I was a kid. It has a very cozy and comfortable atmosphere, not pretentious at all. Most of the time I get the lobster pie...which is outstanding!!! The prime rib is My wife always orders the Stockyard tips and loves the Margarita Shrimp appetizer. A salad, vegetable and potato are offered with most of the meals. The burgers are really good. I can't comment on the wait staff since I mainly dine at the the bar in the main dining room, but the bar staff have always been friendly and accomodating. I've taken family there for birthdays,etc and we've been seated in the private dining rooms which are spacious and private, I've brought clients there for appetizers and drinks and I've never been disappointed. I would recommend the Stockyard again and again!!!
