This Humane Society is unfair and difficult in adoption policies. This Humane Society location also does not even keep you updated. I've had a number of family members attempt to adopt and recieved no update on the process.\r

One family member was told to expect a call and didn't get it.\r
\r
They do not allow you to get acquainted with the dogs by walking them. If so, then they discriminate. They do not take to the time to check into how the dogs responds to you. \r
\r
I see potential for a far better shelter. Just don't know when it will happen. In the meantime, I went to another shelter and adopted a great dog. Since they were so superb, I donated $1,000 to the shelter to continue their great work.\r

Cons: Unfair adoption policies to stop people from owning pets
