I cannot say enough about State Farm. For me it was a ""no brainer."" I had Farmers prior to switching over. My experience was far from good but at the time it served my needs and I never thought about switching. I never saw or heard from my agent at Farmers. I even had my agent switched and was never notified that I had a new agent. My last agent never returned phone calls and I never heard from him unless he was trying to sell me something. I had a claim with Farmers and attempted to call my agent numerous times without any calls back. I ended up basically doing his job. \r I've been with Sate Farm for about 2 years now and its like night and day. Not only am I saving a good chunk of money but I hear from my agent routinely. He sends cards and I talk to him just to ""touch base."" I had one claim with State Farm and it was handled quickly and without a single headache. As a matter of fact I received periodic calls throughout the process to inform me of the claim status and also received calls after it was handled just to make sure there were no additional problems.\r \r I have two cars and a house all through State Farm. I now have better\r coverage along with an umbrella policy for less than I was paying at\r Farmers.\r \r I did not really consider anyone else because they could not compare in coverage and price. Yes, I'm sure you could get cheaper, but you'll suffer on coverage and personal interactions with your agent. I'm sure you could find better coverage, but will pay through the nose.\r \r I really do recommend State Farm and I think if it will serve your needs\r you'll be very happy.
