Review content:
I have been a loyal customer of Ralph's for many years. Recently, I had a zipper on one of my dress boots break, so I brought it in to have it repaired.
Everything was fine until I went to wear the boots and zipped them up--the zipper broke! So, off I went to Ralph's to let them know what happened. When I tried to explain what I had fixed on the boot and what happened, I was TOLD what I had done and not listened to long enough to figure out if there was some sort of miscommunication. I was then yelled at. That was the final straw. I walked out and even as I was walking down the concourse of the mall, I was told ""to just get out""! Nice...
Well, I don't just roll over when I'm treated poorly, so I called back from the parking lot to tell this person that he just lost a loyal customer and that I had being going there for 20 years.
Lo and behold, I get a message later on my cell phone. It was this person groveling and backpeddling telling me how sorry he was an that I didn't deserve to be treated that way. Well, buddy...too little, too late! In this economy, you can't afford to treat your customers like that EVER. I will be finding a new place to have my shoes fixed, even if I have to drive an hour to do it!
