Review content:
Make sure to get a repair quote IN WRITING. My husband just had a new battery installed in his car. He called and asked how much a battery plus installation was, and was given a quote. I heard this converstaion. he clearly asked about installation. Deciding that they had the best price by about $30 (it's an expensive battery for his car), he called back to make an appointment. When calling back, he double checked his info (again, I he said ""battery plus the installation""). They confirmed the price they had given him. When he went to pick up his car, it was about $50 more than his ""quote."" They claimed he only asked about the cost of the battery, not the installation. They were unwilling to do anything about it, nor did they really seem to care. He could have paid less at the dealership, and been given a loaner car while they did the work. We'll be going elsewhere for my brakes.
Cons: customer service, quotes
