Review content:
It is rare to find a quality bakery in the Seattle area. Hoffman's is an exceptional find. While they are well known for their quality cakes and other baked goods, they are less well known for their outstanding sandwiches and soups. Although their choices for sandwiches are limited (usually just turkey, ham, and roast beef plus a special), what they do serve are by far better than any other sandwich provider on the Eastside! Their sandwich meats are top quality and freshly sliced (try the roast beef!). There are usually two homemade soup choices each day - one being vegetarian - and they are always excellent.
The only negative about Hoffman's is the limited seating. It can be difficult sometimes to get a table as there is only a small amount of seating. It is usually easier during the warmer months as there is also some outside seating.
