Get it in writing!!! Our organization chose Marigolds for our quarterly luncheon. We were given a price, chose our menu selections and told that gratuity would be included, We went out to the restaurant to be sure all would be in order for our group of 40-45. We were given a different manager to go over the terms again. And again, we were assured that everything was in order. When we actually got our bill, an additional $200 had been added. We asked to see one of the earlier contact points, but neither was available. I could believe it was all a misunderstanding, until a third manager said, ?you should have gotten it in writing?? When we asked to see the owner, she sent a sample bill which had another $200.00 added which she said she wished she?d have charged?.By the way, the room only holds 30 people which they neglected to tell us! \r So, if you?re planning a seasonal party, a shower, or a luncheon meeting, consider another restaurant. If your heart is set on Marigolds, learn from our mistake and GET IT IN WRITING! As for us, we won?t be going again!!!\r Pros: Good dessert Cons: We paid more than agreed upon price, were treated shabbily
