Review content:
I have never experienced a business that is so poorly run and I am shocked to see the amount of good reviews for this place. They are not interested in giving a good customer experience. I am getting married on August 10th, 2011 (10 days from today). My bride found her perfect dress at Jeanettes Bridal in Manassas, VA. In addition to her dress she found her Bridesmaid's dresses there at well. After all the dresses came in (and they had everyone's money). That is when the real problem's started. About a month ago one of the bridesmaids dresses was found to be EXTREMELY small; to the point of being 5+ inches too small in the chest and thighs. It is obvious to everyone involved that a wrong measurement was taken. Everyone that is except Jill, the manager, at Jeanettes Bridal. She will not admit that a mistake was made during the measurements. She is insisting that we pay $90 for fabric and $100 to get the dress fixed. The dress initially cost $150. I was told on the phone a week ago, that if I agreed to pay for the fabric that they would pick up the charge for the fix. I agreed to this. Early today, they reneged on that promise and is insisting I pay the full amount or we won't get the dress. I am being extorted out of $100 or I won't be able to have my sister (the bridesmaid in question) in my wedding.
