I bought three cupcakes today at Sprinkles ( waited in line 20 minutes for them because of how slow the service is) and they were so terrible that I literally fed them to the pigeons hanging around outside my bank which is across the street. I bought a strawberry cupcake for my 3 year old daughter- horrendous with no flavor at all and sickly sweet frosting and she wouldn't eat it, a caramel apple which was again, incredibly sweet, and finally a vanilla with milk chocolate frosting- this is the one the pigeon preferred. I just don't get the hype. The store is designed beautifully and the boxes and utensils are very funky. Maybe that's the draw because it isn't the cupcakes or the service- a woman behind the counter kept yelling at people to keep the door closed and either wait inside or out in line. She didn't even attempt to be polite. I bought three mini doggie cupcakes for my dogs and they liked them. Total for the order was $18.00- a complete waste of money
Pros: nice utensils and boxes
Cons: too sweet, cake has no flavor, rude & slow service
