Since I lost my idiot to English dictionary last week I didn't know that ""white trash bar"" was now the idiot term for a racially and ethnicaly diverse bar with people from every social class. From the group from the Philly DA's office in last Saturday night, to the various union tradesman, to the hip hop crowd, to the skateboarders, to the Rugby team and darts players who frequent this corner bar the only commonality is a desire to be themselves and have a good time. Let's face it O'Neals is an Irish bar that has at least a half-dozen regulars from England!!!!\r

I don't know where ""pnative"" is from but if he got ""rude"" service he must have deserved it. The bartender/waitress staff is phenomenal - and at least on the female side outstanding looking too. I'll leave it to a female reviewer to comment on the men.\r

As someone who has probably tried every item on the menu I can tell you the Irish stew and chili are excellent and perfect for this time of year. The wings and chicken tenders are very good and the sampler plate with wings, tenders, fries, and pierogies can't be beat for about $8. \r

O'Neals is the kind of bar that if you only visit Philly once or twice a year you are always going to stop back because the crowd and staff don't turnover ever two weeks and once there you want to come back and see old friends you may have only met once. If you are from anywhere around the 19147 ZIP code you will be there every week.\r
