We were caught here hungry and in the middle of a down pour, a less than enthusiastic waiter ushered us in. We should've asked to see a menu first- it wasn't at all impressive for the prices, but after much debate we felt we were in too deep so we stayed and ordered a calamari as an appetizer. Our waiter recommended it, and although the ingredients seemed like they wouldn't mesh, they worked perfectly! $12 well spent. Then came the entree- again, the waiter recommended it, the most expensive pasta on the menu, in that 'I'm-saying-it's-the-best-cause-it-costs-the-most' kinda way and although we sensed that we ordered it anyway. Big mistake. The "highly recommendrd" veal rigatoni with ricotta for $19 was the worst pasta we've had the misfortune to order. I wish I could say it tasted bad but it didn't have enough taste to qualify as tasting. To top it off there weren't any salt or pepper shakers on the table to rectify the situation- only big stupid, dusty cans of tomato. On top of that, the under-whelmed waiter was as equally uninterested in our visit so lucky the rain let up and we made our escape. My advice: if you can go for the calamari and leave before it starts to rain.
