Went to UVA 69 Sunday morning with friends from out of town. We wanted a table outdoors, but as it was about to rain, wanted to assure being seated under the tent. This request seemed to throw the "hostess" off. We ended up going inside and standing by the bar for 15 minutes, before I could grab someone and beg for a table, somewhere, anywhere (it was not ovely crowded and there were several free tables). For a "new" restaurant, they could use a good sprucing up. Things are looking a bit worn. I am sure it feels different at night, but in the light of day you notice a little uncleanliness.\r \r Once seated, our waiter was very attentive and made sure we enjoyed the rest of our stay. The meal was wonderful! I had the three-egg omelet and pancakes and they were cooked to perfection. The eggs were fluffy; filled with proscuitto and mozzerella and the pancakes were fluffy and light. My husband had a burger, which he says was perfect. Weirdly, there was no coffee on the menu, but the mimosas are to die for. Granted, I did not ask for coffee, but I found that odd.\r \r I am going to try this place again to test the service. If it's good, I'll continue going back, if it's the same, cest la vie; on to the next place.
