I highly recommend this place for anyone who really loves old Hollywood as far as ambiance and old American fare. The menu is mostly ala carte, which I love. I like being able to pick what meat I want, what salad I want, what vegetable I want etc... Getting a fancy plated cutting edge meal is great too but I really LOVE it this way so much more! Must be my Kansas City up-bringing. The dishes are the kind of dishes you would expect to see on a menu from the 1930's or 1940's on the east coast. You will be getting excellent cuts of meat, grilled perfectly, AMAZING cocktails, old school waiters, and side dishes you haven't seen on a menu in years. Seriously, when was the last time you saw a twice baked potato on a menu? The ambiance is so old American, like someplace you would see in a movie starring John Garfield or something. It is like old world New York. You have to see it. I miss places like this. Restaurants these days can be so cold and barren and minimal. I know that is the ""chic"" style for these days but I am over it. Gimme Musso's! Pros: Food, ambiance Cons: kind of pricey but not out of the ordinary
