The Gateway is the location. Order any FRESH special of the day; but pass on the scalops.
They're very skimpy. The fresh fish plates come with a variety of heavy coated unidentifiable concoctions. They're hit-and-miss; mostly miss. Do NOT order anything fried. Tastes just like Denny's. The New england clam chowder is little more than clam flavored potato soup with flour added as a thickener. Get the fish stew instead. The marionberry deep dish pie IS the dessert. The key lime pie is good, but mostly made of whipped cream. Great location, decor, and service, and now with ordinary food. This place was much better just after it opened. Oh well! R.I.P.
