Review content:
This is the WORST experience I have ever had in a Hallmark store, and I'm a frequent Hallmark shopper. I recently moved down here and went to this Hallmark because it was close to my house. When I walked in, the two workers were just standing behind the counter talking (about customers they don't like, no less). One of them looked up, gave me a dirty look like I was disturbing them, and then went back to her conversation. They never even said hello! I walked around the store for a little bit, getting kind of irritated because nearly all of their displays were half empty, the store was filthy, and their card runs were so messed up that I couldn't find anything. I finally went up to the counter to ask for a certain type of card, and when I said ""excuse me"" one of them looked up and said ""What?"" very angrily. I just walked out at that point, and I will NEVER go back. When I called later to try to speak to a manager, I was hung up on THREE TIMES. These people are RUDE and do not deserve your business! I've started going to the other Hallmark in the Avenue and they are wonderful. They always say hi when you walk in, they always ask to help you find what you need (but leave you alone to shop if you don't want any help...I usually don't like help), the store is well-stocked and clean...it's just so much better. They don't carry as many Willow Tree or Precious Moments figurines, but they're always willing to track down an item for you (both times I've done this, I've gotten it in less than a week). It's very obvious that it is owned by different people since the Avenue owner apparently cares about their customers while the owner of Lisa's clearly doesn't.
