I was hosting a birthday party for one of my girlfriends and The Sitting Room was GREAT!! I had first made the reservation for 15, but had to later change it to accommodate 20, and the staff was wonderful about it. When we got there, we had a whole area to ourselves, including a comfy couch and two armchairs. The waitstaff was phenomenally attentive (remembering everyones' names, even) and replaced our drinks and food as quickly as we could finish them. As far as the food, it was all very delicious. The menu on the website is pretty modest, but there were several tasty choices once we got there. The caprese salad was one of the best I've had in Seattle and the bruschetta (ingredients change by the week) was to DIE for. I even had a cake that the waitstaff held in the kitchen until we were ready to unveil it. When it was time, they lit the candles and brought out plenty of plates and cutlery for all. Overall, the night was a HUGE success! There was plenty of room and a down-tempo ambiance perfect for the group of people I was entertaining. Thank you, Sitting Room for a great party!!
