Coming from NYC I have a lot of good and also some bad dining experiences. I am happy to say that I mostly only have good things to say about Tinks! From food to service, it provides a very pleasurable dining experience. I have had their shrimp and grits, crab cakes, diver scallops w/butternut sqush and my fiancee really enjoys their salmon with sweet potaot mash... I was not in the area when the other chef was in the kitchen - but whoever is back there now does an excellent job as well. \r

We really enjoy this place for its cool and comfy atmosphere, very professional wait staff service, unique menu and excellent food. My only complaint is their desserts don't match the quality of their entrees and appetizers... We had had their cobbler and flourless chocolate cake and neither one were worth the calories! So skip it here and have it eleswhere!!!\r

Overall, Tinks is a great place to go when you are tired of the same old, same old.\r
Pros: FOOD, service, atmosphere
Cons: desserts-not worth the calories!
