Businiess name:  Metro's Best Electric

Review content:
The electricians are very professional and fair, however, while doing some work accidentally set off an alarm at PGE because he was supposed to contact them before disconnecting the meter. It was an innocent mistake, however it caused PGE to call the FBI to investigate for possible power theft. Luckily PGE was very understanding, but wanted to speak to the company that did not follow protocol. When my wife contacted to owner of Metros Best Electric, the woman was very defensive and rude, she suggested that we were the victims of a prank call, she said, ""a lot of teenagers are off for the summer and have a lot of time on their hands, she said, despite the PGE trucks parked in front of our house and the fact that their electrician was doing work around the meter. She told my wife that she had to have something in writing from PGE before she would do anything. Between the time that the work was done and PGE called us, my wife received several emails from this woman asking us to put up good reviews for them because they had recently got a lot of bad ones. After she started to deny the whole thing, my wife said now she knew why they were getting bad reviews and now we are going to write one too. She said, ""go right ahead,"" and hung up. So here I am. Luckily I still had the cell number of the electrician who did the work and I gave it to PGE and the whole issue was resolved. The electrician also called my wife and explained to her what happened and made sure everything was okay. Had we not had that number and had to deal directly with the owner of the company, it could have been a very ugly situation. To sum it up, I would recommend Metro's Best electricians, but I would not recommend using their company because if something goes wrong and you have to deal with the owners, you will probably NEVER get your problem resolved and will be treated poorly.
