Nick’s Package Store and Crown Pizza (CP) are two businesses in the same building. The parking lot was nearly full and I found a spot in front of Nick’s. As we got our toddler out of her car seat, a man came out and politely asked us to move our car. I looked around and saw no parking restrictions, but he said we need to move anyway, unless we will patron his store. He said we can settle our daughter at CP 1st. Entering the restaurant, a woman who overheard the man’s request told me she thought it not right for him to ask us to move w/o any such signage to that effect. I told my wife I’d move the car after we order (time can be short at a restaurant w/a toddler). W/in ~4 minutes, some woman approached me at our table and said I do need to move our car. I was then feeling bullied & responded angrily saying I shouldn’t have to w/o any signage, which she claimed was there, and said do it or be towed! If we were towed, how would we get our toddler home w/o a car seat?!? I said show me the sign, and I’ll comply. She took me to the store and didn’t show me (there wasn’t one…), then she, I, & the man argued. I raised my voice saying I was just settling down our daughter when she came in threatening to tow. Next a customer came in and I told the woman “how can you treat me this way?!"". The customer sarcastically applauded me. What a bad experience that was. I recommend going to any of the many other local package stores, some of which have better selections and prices.
