I frequent dry cleaners and tailors quite a bit. I am a traveling consultant and try to find a place in each city which I am assigned. I've had two individual run-ins with this same lady (have no clue of what her name is...she refuses to tell me). The first instance I wanted to know if they offered a quick turnaround service (i.e. pay more and get service quicker). Her response was very rude and off putting. Basically they do not offer this service. That's fine but there's a way to say as much without being a monster about it. I chalked it up to her having a bad day. I still had not officially had a service provided by them but I thought I'd try them out again. They are conveniently located and want to give them the benefit of the doubt. My next visit was no better. I was charged get this $120 to simply shorten two blazer's sleeves and hem three pairs of pants. This is ridiculous. On the day I had my clothing items pinned and prepped to be tailored I was not quoted $120. I was quoted more like less than $100. How the price jumped that much for these simple alterations is beyond me. As I stated, I frequent tailors more than the average and this was simple greed, unprofessionalism and poor business. I guess you can tell from my review that I'm never using them again and we all know how strong and pervasive word of mouth is, right? Well just know the 100 other individuals assigned to the same project which I am will know all about my two encounters with this awful business. FYI - Several downtown hotels use this cleaners. If you can help it don't use MZ Cleaners. They don't value their customers!!!
