Businiess name:  Great Yarns Inc
Review by:  Kristy L.
Review content:
Great Yarns is by far my favorite yarn shop in the area. They carry a wide selection of high-quality yarns (Rowan, Cascade, Brown Sheep, Manos, and more) and have been scaling back the amount of novely yarn they carry. Recently they have added Addi turbo and Lantern Moon needles to the selection. The pattern books are neatly organized and at a shelf that makes browsing easy. Even though there is a lot of yarn in-store, the cubbies are neatly organized and there's almost a calming aspect to it (or maybe I just hit knitter's nirvana in there). They are willing to special order any color of one of their yarns, but there is a minimum # of skeins required. Store samples are plentiful; you can see how almost anything will knit up. They have an extensive class schedule, but I haven't had time to take any there yet. The service seems to have become even nicer since new ownership took over in Summer 2005. Visiting this yarn shop makes me so happy to be a knitter!
