Businiess name:  University Foreign Car Repair

Review content:
I had my Ck Eng Light come on in my 2001 VW Jetta GLS 1.8t, she has over 110k miles on her, she started running really rough, so I pulled into University Foreign Car Repair, told them what was happening with the ""C.E.L."" and her running rough, they asked if I could leave it for them to go over, no problem, they even gave my daughter and I a ride back to Mason ( I didn't even have to ask).\r \r While waiting on the results of the inspection, I went on-line and started to scare myself with what ""could be wrong"", OUCH this is going to hurt the wallet kind of thing. Got the call back from UFCR and got the bad news...found out that there was a laundry list of routine things that have been neglected on the car but, some if not fixed could have serious expensive ramifications if I don't get them fixed soon. ( Bought the car used) \r \r I told the service manager my situation and he suggested that the best way to go about this would be to fix ""X"" 1st, then knock things off the list as soon as I could afford to to more. He was able to get my car running safely and effectively (the gas mileage got better, and in a Jetta, I didn't think that was possible) UFCR has earned a customer for life and a person that will sing their praise forever! \r \r OBTW, they got me back on the road for less than $75 and that was with a complete system check of Engine, Trans, Turbo, Suspension and Brakes along with fixing the immediate problem. Pros: They will tell you like it is and they are honest, you get what you pay for Cons: You're not fixing a Chevy...so expect to pay more for repairs
