Review content:
I am waiting for an oil change right now, and I overheard one of their staff talking about their website he was working on, and it appears they have a facebook page as well. I whipped out my DroidX and checked them out, I have a few minutes to spare. The website seems good enough, we repair cars, here is our phone number, what else do you need from a car repair web site. Their facebook appears to give updates on auto repair advice and schedules, as well as traffic or construction issues in the Lansing area - thats a rather helpful thing I think as I add their page feed to google reader. Now there is a potential downside to all this - I have been waiting here almost 30 minutes for my oil change. They are a busy shop and locally owned, not some chain store. They have work lined up most days so it takes a little longer than your in and out oil change shop. But when they are done I know if my car has anything wrong with it they will let me know. That has given me the warning I need in the past so that I can budget for upcoming repairs. I normally leave my car with them and get a ride into work, I have seen a few of the people this morning get rides to work from the staff though, so it looks like they help with getting you to work as well. I recommend giving them a chance at least. Eric at the front desk is very friendly, and gives you the feeling that your car is being well looked after.
