Review content:
Being an art/waffle neophyte, and introduced to the two through Jace Gace, I felt compelled to write a response to the post below. In all of the times I myself have been to this establishment, I've only been given the best service and the best food. \r
\r
The staff exudes a fresh Portland feel, and are NON-pretentious when asked to put ""extra, extra creme on [my] fruit & creme waffle"" (which I've done on every visit). \r
\r
The reason why I continually patronize Jace Gace is not just for its gallery (which helps promote local artists- bravo!) or its staff, but for the most important aspect (or, at least it is in my book): THE FOOD! I have yet to taste a waffle as amazing as the ones served here; The fruit is fresh, the syrups and sauces are decadent, and the waffles are fluffy (note: WARM) and delicious! \r
\r
Sorry for ranting, but no one disses one of my favorite Portland spots.
Pros: The staff, the ambiance/decor, and the food
Cons: Parking may be a little tricky
