Review content:
I have been to Avalons all over the country (Boston, New York, and this one in Hollywood) and I have to say this one is a different scene then the others. There all set up mostly the same other than some differences, they all have some of the top international Djs and talent spinning on a weekly basis, but the difference is class and crowd. For example the crowd at Avalon Boston and Avalon Hollywood are completly different. Boston= Upscale and classy, Hollywood=shady and droned out. This doesnt mean everyone that partys at the hollywood club is that, just a majority. Avalon Hollywood is known for having a sketchy crwod since its an after hours club and thats typically the crowd that is still looking for a club to go to at 5 in the morning. I still have fun when I go there because I love the music and production that they bring, I just can only take it for so long. I think the Hollywood club needs to try to strive more to get the clientelle base that the Boston club has and keep it upscale, classy and elite. However, I think this has been getting somewhat better since Wired LA took over from Giant on there Saturday nights.
Pros: Music, Djs, Production
Cons: class of customers
