Review content:
The apartments are nice-ish and the maintenance is done usually within 24 hours. HOWEVER if you have time, shop around. The snooty landowner is from Brookfield and the apartments are very overpriced for what you get. They run it like it's Nazi Germany and live to write people up for minor infractions. I was there a little less than 2 years and can't tell you how many younger people were run out of there because they were ""too loud"". Keep in mind the landlady can be as loud as she wants to be, banging her door open and shut, making noise in the hallways, but if you have one too many bags and it hits your door frame as you try to squeeze through, you can expect a warning note in your door the next day. They also expect your guests to fill out a credit check and background check if they've been at your apartment for more than 14 days in ONE calendar year. \r ASK FOR THEIR ADDENDUM FIRST before you sign anything- it's 4 pages long, I kid you not, of incredibly dumb rules that once again, the property manager can break but the tenants get written up for. (such as leaving their garage door open) Don't expect to entertain any guests here unless you all know sign language- speaking is too loud even though they claim their walls are completely sound proof. I never had any problems with landlords at any other places I've lived in (which is five altogether) except here. \r \r Don't expect much of your security deposit back. They tell you they take into account ""wear and tear"" but they turn around and charge you for a stain on the carpet that was there when you moved in. She has a list of products you need to use to clean out certain areas of the apartment and take money out of your deposit to repaint the walls and get a carpet cleaner, even if you did that for them. Like I said, not worth the hassle of living there, unless you're never around and can't get written up for breathing too loud. Pros: Apartments are not dumps Cons: See details below
