Review content:
Best pizza around. This is the longest-standing pizzeria in the area. Opened in 1969 by the Pagliai brothers of Iowa, who according to Armond Pagliai, who's now retired in MO, sold it to locals and thought so much of them that they allowed them to keep the family name. It's now in different hands but the quality, quantity and value continue.
You get more cheese and more thick, zesty sauce on a regular Pagliai's pie than you get on the competition's extra-cheese, extra-sauce pizza! And the toppings go absolutely all the way to the edge -- no two-inch ring of bare crust around the outside.
My recommendation: a thin-crust B Special, named after the long gone Warren Bode. You get four toppings for the price of two; a delicious value.
Extra tip: every Thursday for over 30 years now, they've been publishing in the local newspapers a coupon for $1.50 off on a large..
