I had signed up as member awhile back, and until recently all was good. The massages werre decent, nothing fabulous, but you can't expect much for the price. I recently had a problem and addressed it with the manager, let me just say she was less then helpful. She did not apologize or try to make things right, instead she ecame defense and tried to push the lame off on to me. I was so frustrated when I left I wrote a letter to the corporate office complaining about her and the way she handled the situation. They did nothing, but send her the letter for her to address with me. She then basically called me a liar, the problem was that I had proof to back up my claims, where on the other hand she did not. When I brought this to her and the corporate offices attention, they have refused to apologize. The whole purpose of going to a spa is to relax and destress, from what I have experienced at the La Mesa location is that you will walk out of there 4x more tense then when you walked in. The Management is terrible and the fact that the corporate office wont even step up to try to rectify the situation says alot about the type of business they are running. All I can say is that if you do decide to visit this location, keep documentation of everything. Although they could do what they did to me and just ignore the facts in hopes of the problem going away instead of admitting they were wrong. Pros: Decent massage for the price Cons: Horrible customer service & management
