Review content:
Bamboo Thai Restaurant on Commonwealth Ave in Brighton is small and cozy, although the location is not the most convenient but the food makes it totally worth while. They offer traditional thai dishes and a few of their own original fusion Thai creations. When my friend and I went on a Thursday night, the place was pretty bustling but the wait was not too long. I've a huge fan of small dishes, so we ordered a few appetizers- the Tod mun (Thai fish & shrimp cakes with curry and kaffir lime leaves, served with peanut - cucumber sauce) was moist and perfectly seared, the sauce was creamy and light. They offer a huge selection of Pad Thai, we tried the Radna Noodle- the noodles were perfectly cooked with fresh veggies and seafood. The high point of the meal was the Crispy Tamarind duck, it wasn't overly fatty and it was crispy and tangy. Overall, a good experience and great place to go on a date.
Pros: great fish pancakes!
