I came across this site by accident or I thought!!! I was so glad that others have posted reviews about Jerry Hunt Auto and their ""DISHONEST"" ways. My daughter purchased a car from Jerry Hunt Auto January 2008. From the very beginning the whole thing was dishonest!!!! My daughter had just turned 19 and in college. She went to Jerry Hunt and they sold her a car with NO job and even gave her a bogus employer name and telephone number. I am not so sure that the finance company that they deal with is not part of it because they even put down that she had been working there for 10 years - that would put her at 9 years old. I intercepted a letter from the finance company with this information on it. Anyway, the salesman promised to put new tires on the car but that was never done. Second, within a couple days of having the car the heater stopped working, and the fan belt started making a terrible noise. She had a 30 day warranty so she took it back for them to fix. When she got the car back the same thing begin to happen all over again. No heat in the car, fan belt making a noise, thermostat went out. She took it back and again they claimed they fixed the problem. By this time the 30 days was running out. When she got the car back all seemed fine for a couple weeks then EVERYTHING started happening to the car. She had someone else look at the car and discovered that the thermostat was not replaced nor was the belt. Now, where is the car - sitting in the yard undriveable. Blown head gasket, suspension is gone, still no heat, you name it - it is wrong with this car. She still has until January 2010 to pay for the car and has no way to go. PLEASE - Anyone thinking of buying a car from Jerry Hunt - DON'T!!!! I really sympathize with all the reviews because I know what my 19 year daughter has gone through. Jerry Hunt - clean up your dealership!! Young adults and struggling folks in Lexington TRUSTED that your company was a trustworthy. You should be ashamed!
