Review content:
I own a 2005 Toyota Prius on which there has been a Safety Recall Campaign for potential floor mat interference with the accelerator pedal. Within hours of my car wash here, the accelerator pedal stuck as I merged onto the freeway. This occured because the mat had not been properly re-positioned after cleaning at the car wash. Luckily I was able to control my vehicle, pull back into the merge lane and remove the mat from the accelertor pedal.\r
I have left messages on the voice mail at the car wash for either Eddie or Leo to return my call. All I want to do is to alert them to the problem and perhaps save a life in doing so. I in no way am blaming them because I should have either removed the mat or checked it before going further. I just want them to be careful about this in the future - but I can't seem to get them to return a call!
