If you want stylish frames, this is a good place to shop. They have a large selection of fashionable frames at prices comparable to the large chains like Lenscrafters. However, lens prices seem to be higher. I say seem to be, because the salesperson at Park would not fully break down the cost of various lens options - she just quoted the final price and glossed over the details. I didn't get all the answers, just reasons why their glasses are a higher quality to justify the prices. I accepted their reasons and the price because I needed the glasses. My overall cost ended up being higher than it would have been at Lenscrafters. At LC, they actually show you a chart of the cost breakdowns. You won't always get waited on right away at Park. On one visit, we waited 20 minutes before anyone even said boo to us. The young saleswoman at LC in Beachwood who helped me was very sweet, very conscientious and very accommodating. I'm actually sorry I didn't give her the sale. LC does not have nearly as many frame styles, though, which is one of the reasons I went elsewhere. That and because the lenses they made for me were not right. If you are looking for anything unusual in lenses for the first time, it might be better to try a place like LC first, because if it doesn't work out for you, LC will let you return the glasses for a refund. If you get something at Park that you discover later doesn't work for you, you won't get your money back. The sales staff at Park is older than at LC, which isn't necessarily a problem, but they all seem to have an attitude, which is off-putting, and I wondered if it was because of my young appearance. And when you question their policies, even if it's politely and just to see if there are other alternatives, they get defensive. They had several frames I liked very much, but the next time I look for glasses, it'll probably be somewhere else based on the negative way they made me feel. Pros: Great selection of frames Cons: Stuffy attitude, slow to serve sometimes, no refund policy like large chains
