""Best of the East Bay"" the sign outside proclaims. Well, it's wrong. Granted, it may be slightly better than some of the local Chinese joints, but only because they are sub-par. Basically, no one around here knows what good Chinese tastes like, and therefore thinks LSS is decent. The food is average at best. Nothing special. I've eaten there many times, always hoping something will change, but no. Except, since Fenton's moved in, there is NO parking, and the wait for take-out can be an hour long. The hostesses also tend to be slightly rude. Plus, it's expensive for Chinese and the portions are small. My last order, I got rice for two. The half-pint container they gave me was less than half full. Less than what any other place would give for one. They had time to make two batches in the time I waited for my food. Pros: Okay food, Good for kids, Nice location Cons: Expensive, No parking, Long waits
