I have been going to barbers my whole life but wanted to change my hairstyle completely, looked on google for places, and came across Destenee. I'll be honest- I made sure I told my friends I was going to do something manly like work out or fight bears, and when my beard found out we weren't going to do those things, it wasn't very happy. But I made an appointment with Carlos ""el Maestro de Tijera"" and came out of that place looking so fresh that strangers just started high fiving me. I even had a missed call from a number I didn't know; I think it was Sofia Vergara, but let's not jump to conclusions. \r

I'm sure their competitors are also very good, but Destenee was $13 cheaper than anything else I found online. The ladies were all wonderful and very nice, Carlos listened to my crazy concepts for what I'm looking for in a haircut and just knocked it out of the park, and they do all of the cool spa stuff of washing your hair and giving a head massage. Plus, Carlos had tons of advice as to what hairstyles I can do with this cut and what products to use (I ended up buying one of the gels they sell there.\r

In conclusion, before I head out on a lunch date with Sofia, this place is awesome and well worth it.
