A great school that actually lets kids be kids. No pencil shoving in the hands or daily worksheets here. Just old fashioned fun: digging for dinosaur bones, making mud pies, playing in the rain. Kids learn so much while playing and having fun. Don't be surprised when you pick your child up and they are wearing nothing but underwear. It's probably for the best since their clothes are most likely covered in paint, dirt, cornstarch, water, and popsicle juice. Children are also taught respect, kindness, socialization, manners, and countless other social skills that are vital to have at this young age but must be reinforced. The teachers are well trained and genuinely care. There is extremely low staff turnover. Most teachers have been on staff for 5-10 years.\r \r Another great thing about this preschool is that they never pester you for excess money like many of the other high end LA preschools. What you see is what you get here. No new building fund, no fund raisers, and no hidden fees. Just a deposit and monthly tuition. Nice mix of families from glam moms to granola moms, but all very down to earth.\r \r Get your kid on the waiting list the day you conceive. This place is a rare find in the Valley. The spots fill fast. Pros: Low student/teacher ratio, very encouraging and nurturing environment Cons: Short hours. My kid never wanted to leave.
