Review content:
Been staying with a friend for several months now who owns a property in a development that employs Copper Eagle. Even though they've seen my car there for three months, about two weeks ago these rent-a-cops decided to start giving me fake tickets that said my registration was expired and somehow that's in violation of their policy. Since my car is out of state, Copper Eagle has no way of checking my registration yet they still tried to site me for it, thinking they're real cops. Even after I made several phonecalls to the Copper Eagle office and the HOA, they still UNLAWFULLY TOWED MY CAR regardless of the fact that I showed them a copy of my CURRENT registration. They towed my car and then tried to tell me that it's now between me and the tow company(at a cost of $200). Isaiah, the supervisor I spoke to at Copper Eagle was rude and argumentative, making up fake laws that he could not find written anywhere(e.g. if you're in Cali for over 10 days you have to re-register your car). He argued with me over semantics of the law which he knew nothing about, in a very berating tone. It took me calling the REAL POLICE(who btw said that CE has no right to give citations based on reg. since they're not real cops), before they released my car which they technically stole. SCUMBAG ALERT! BEWARE!
