Review content:
We had a great time at Nava last night! The wait was long (45 minutes for two people), so we ordered a couple of the prickly pear margaritas at the outdoor bar. They were quite good, not too sweet, and just the right zing! We definitely indulged and ordered two appetizers: the fritters and the salmon which were both superb. If I had to pick, I'd probably pick the salmon! \r \r We ordered and shared two entrees as well. They were out of the tuna (which was a bit disappointing) but forced us to order the Red chili-seared salmon, which was honestly the best salmon I have ever had. I never expect much from salmon anymore, but the flavor combinations and surprises in this dish simply got better and better as you finished the dish. I could eat it every day for the rest of my life! We also got the filet trio, which was good, but NOTHING compared to the salmon. The charring on the steak was delicious, but it was slightly more done than I prefer a steak to be. \r \r We didn't have room for dessert, but between the margaritas, the wine, the appetizers and amazing salmon we left beyond satisfied! Pros: The best salmon of your life! Cons: We weren't asked how we wanted our filets cooked and they were slightly over done.
