There's no denying it-Metalliferous is one of the best stocked jewelry supplies stores in NYC. Many of the staff have been really helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. That being said I'm never going to go there again, because of one employee who is mentally ill. Every time I leave that place I feel like a 2nd grader who's been spanked by a sadistic teacher in front of the class!Give someone a little power and they go crazy. I mean the guy is flat out rude, condescending, and enjoys humiliating people. If you have been there you know who I mean, and I feel your pain. I've tried to steel myself before I go, but I just don't want to put up with it. I went to Zak which has less selection but they were professional. Will go there from now on, or do mail order.
