Review content:
I remember when this place was Ryan's, Golden Corral and a number of other places - oh how I miss those days!
My family and I decided to give this buffet a try due to the lack of much other option in Reedley. Now I wish I had gone with my gut and just drove through Taco Bell like originally planned.
The food tasted terrible, and you could tell upon taking a bite that a lot of it had been sitting forever under the heat lamps as it was hard, nearly cold and virtually inedible. One item in particular that I was excited to try was the salt & pepper shrimp, which is something that I love and will eat any chance I get. After removing the shell, I found that the shrimp was nothing more than mush, almost the consistency of mashed potatoes - yuck!
After sampling one or two things, in the end, all my kids would eat was the jell-o, which is not normal for either one of them. They both love chinese food and were disappointed that there just wasnt much they liked.
The atmosphere was okay, the people that worked there were very nice, but in the end the the food and sick to your stomach feeling after you leave isnt worth how much you pay for it.
