Review content:
This places embodies LA in all its history and glory. Inside and out, it is a true representation of LA past and present. Inside you'll find LA history on the walls and in the customers. After a few minutes inside you will feel the true Angelino spirit--people of every ethnic background lining the sawdust covered floors for The Original dipped sandwich. For even more flavor, ask for your sandwich double dipped. Add a side of potato salad and a beer, then sit down and soak in the history of the place as families and downtown workers alike enjoy The Original alongside you. Careful with the mustard on the table--it WILL clear your sinuses. For even more LA history in the area, walk down Alameda to Olvera Street, then take a glance inside the majestic Union Station across the street. Pros: THE place for dips, Historic LA, ample parking
