Review content:
We just got back from Solera's and I promised Steve the manager I would write a great review on our first time there! \r \r After much researching online and reading reviews, I decided to make reservations at Solera's for my birthday dinner last night for my group of 10. I reserved the Alhambra Room and it just happened to be available, despite my procrastination in making reservations. When we arrived the hostesses were very welcoming and immediately took us to our room which weaved almost around the whole 1st floor of the restaurant. \r \r The room itself was very private in the back and decorated with colorful walls, lighting fixtures, etc. I was a bit confused though when I saw the room with chairs set up, as I had presumed the seating arrangements were going to be oversized cushions as the website described. I hesitated on requesting it be changed due to the complications, but felt compelled to ask. Our waitress Jessie was hesitant in making it happened, but the manager Steve came by and said it wouldn't be a problem and that it would take 10 minutes or so (which btw, he came by and offered to take our picture with 5 different cameras before announcing that). I was very grateful they were able to do so being that I wasn't aware the chairs were standard and cushions available upon request when making the reservation. Within 10 minutes we were back at our room sitting on cushions and ordering drinks/food. Jessie was very helpful and patient as we ordered the dishes, and within a short period of time came back with everything. \r \r The bill came up to $332--with $160 of it being the tapas, about $100 for drinks and 20% gratuity--which is not that bad for a group of 10! Our favorite was the fried calamari, short ribs, asparagus! Although the tapas were a bit small, but everything else made up for it! An overall great first time experience due to the management/staff/service, and the whole ambience of Solera! \r \r We will definitely tell our friends and be back! Pros: Alhambra room, Group dining, Ambience, Service/Mgmt, Cons: Too small of portion per plate...
