Review content:
This was our first visit in many months, for lunch. The buffet is, if anything, better than it was before. For carnivores, they offered a goat masala, chicken biryani, tandoori chicken, ground lamb ""kebabs,"" and 2 other chicken ""curries."" Aside from the kebabs, which were a bit on the dry and chewy side, these dishes were all terrific, with the wonderful rich palette of spices that makes Indian food so special. There were 2 kinds of rice and at least 6 vegetable dishes, also very good. I do wish that some of the buffet dishes had been hotter (temperature-wise). I also would like to see at least a couple of dishes that are really spicy. They seem to have toned down the food for wimpy American tastes. There's a large selection of chutneys and rice pudding for dessert. I am sure I have forgotten to mention a few things. \r
\r
Service was very good and at one point a fellow - the chef, I believe - came out to chat and ask us how things were. They were pretty busy, with a couple of large groups of mostly Indian people.\r
\r
If there were problems with the change of management, they sure seem to have fixed things.
Pros: Quality of food, wide buffet selection, service.
Cons: Lack of spicy dishes.
