Reading the reviews I am shocked at the negative comments, but they seem quite old. In fairness, reviews should be in descending order\r

For over 8 years I travel over 30+ miles round trip 1-2 times a week to eat, drink, and interact with the many friends (patrons and staff) I have met at 'THE BEAR"\r

The food is always very good to excellent \r

Service is terrific. Staff is friendly. Restaurant is always clean. It's privately owned. Both owners are hands on, their attention to detail assures that the quality remains high.\r
