Review content:
I went here the other night for the 2nd time and thought - once again - that it was OK. I also completely agree with the last review re: the bartender who couldn't make a drink as I ordered a martini (which I really didn't think could be screwed up) and it was undrinkable... don't know how she can stay employed, other than thinking that she's seeing one of JT's friends. Anyway, let me break it down quickly - this is certainly a place for locals (UN Plaza & Sutton Place crowd) and wannabee gangsters where the food is fair, service good and meatballs GREAT! In other words, this is not a destination place, though if you're in the area, just order the meatballs, a glass of wine and the check... all at the same time. Too bad they don't make a MB sandwich to go !
Pros: Meatballs for appetizer, entree & possibly dessert
Cons: unskilled bartender, crusty crowd
