Review content:
I have lived in Silver Springs for almost a year now. We were supposed to move in on a Thursday, we packed everything that morning, went to the office to get our key to move in and they said they had not had a chance to clean it yet, and the maintaince man was cleaning the carpets now. The carpet was in HORRIBLE condition. It was coming up around every wall and at every doorway leaving tack strips exposed. We moved in on wet carpet so it got very dirty very fast. There was many stains on the carpet. I tried to get new carpet three times, and they did not show up to any apointment that I set with them to come look at the carpet after I took off work to try to accomidate the offices limited hours. Besides the carpet we had holes in our wall and doors. One of our doors was held up by 25 rubber bands, and it had a horrible smell of smoke. The tile in the kitchen and laundry room was just set down on top of old tile (not glued) and they were all coming up. The bathroom in the master bedroom had a slow leak from the ceiling any time the neighbors took a shower. After calling 4 times they finaly came out to fix it. I had a hole in my ceiling for 3 days before they came to patch it up. Four days later it began leaking again. The ceiling in the other bathroom is peeling off and in a large part of it we are down to sheet rock, and they said it is ok they do not need to fix it. I am friends with a few other people in the complex and I know that we got a lemon of an apartment but the offices lack of ability to get it fixed is irritating. I will be moving out in October as soon as my house is done being built! On top of a bad apartment in general, there has been 2 fires One Oct 28th that took out a whole building and one last week that for some reason they are being hush hush about. They say it did not happen, but the fire trucks tell me otherwise
