Horrible bedside manner...I had this doctor as my primary care physician several years ago. Along with long wait time in the waiting room Dr. Cooper had a rude attitude.I remember waiting for over an hour when I had an appointment. The pharmaceutical sales people would be let in right away while the patients were stuck waiting to be seen. At first, he was really nice but during one visit he was so rude and disrespectful that I changed physicans the next day. I was sure I had strep throat (I had experienced the same symptoms before and was diagnosed with strep throat) and I asked my husband to accompany me in the exam room since my throat was so raw, it was difficult for me to speak. When we both came in the room, Dr. Cooper looked at my husband with disgust and stared at him for a minute. He told him it was hard for me to talk. Dr. Cooper was so rude and just gave us a dirty look...didn't say anything. I struggled to tell him that I thought I had strep throat and asked for a culture. Dr. Cooper just looked at my throat and said no you don't and wrote me out a prescription for pain medication. I was appalled. I never went back. I can't believe he's doing laser treaments now. I guess that's where the money is...
