Review content:
I think the previous reviewer had our same waiter. I have never been treated with more disrespect in a restaurant than at Nove. Our waiter - ""Josh""? (I think) was clearly taking himself waayyy too seriously. His comments about our inability to appreciate the food were completely out of line. Especially since we've dined at plenty of restaurants that make this place look like McDonald's (places like the French Laundry). That aside, once we called in the manager and our waiter was replaced, we had a great time. Food is solid. Nothing too adventurous, but well-prepared. The ambience is wonderful, and the access to the Playboy club makles it an ideal venue for a celebration like a birthday or bachelor(ette) party. I'd recommend it, but if you get a whiff of attitude, don't put up with it. Just call the manager, and you should be fine.
Pros: Beautiful ambience, view, and a manager who cares
Cons: Poseur waitstaff with bad attitudes
