Yesterday, I took a chance on a new salon, and today I am so sorry that I strayed from the Gary Manuel salon. I saw Lindsey, one of their ""senior"" stylists, and ended up paying top dollar ($245) for the worst cut and color I have ever had. I brought pictures of what kind of highlights I wanted. She dismissed them without even looking at them. She then chose two different highlight colors instead of the ones I had asked for. I even showed her a picture of how I normally style my hair. I told her that I just wanted a trim. She gave me the craziest choppiest layers instead. Like another reviewer stated, ""it is just hair and it will grow back,"" but I cannot let go of the fact that I trusted this person, and I payed a lot of money for the privilege, just so that I could look this terrible for a long time yet to come. I just don't understand how someone can be so deaf to what the paying customer is asking for. Lesson learned. Never trust an ugly stylist that has even uglier hair. It just can't end well, even in that price bracket.
