My fiance and I knew that one of our biggest priorities for our wedding was getting the best possible band - a great band makes for a fantastic and fund wedding. We did research into Chicago area bands and David was by far the most helpful and responsive from the start. Our timing was great because soon after we spoke with him we were able to see the band play live at a wedding event - they were awesome and David was so great! After we hired them, David continued to be super helpful and supportive throughout the planning process (unlike some vendors who disappear after they get your deposit!) David's process for getting to know you, whats important to you for your wedding and what kind of music you want is impeccable.
So after a great experience leading up to the wedding, our expectations were HIGH - very high! And DRM exceeded them tenfold (which I did not think was possible). First, David does an excellent job emceeing the night - especially in the beginning a lot is going on - announcements, first dance, toasts, etc. But the best part was that our dance floor was packed the entire night - young and old! A lot of people's favorite moment was when the trumpet section came on to the dance floor with everyone! Everyone had a blast and a million people told me that they've never had so much fun at a wedding or that it was the best wedding they've ever been to. And I know these people and they were not just being nice. I attribute 95% of this to David and his band. They are not cheap, but worth every penny - you get what you pay for!!! If I had to do it again all over on a budget, I would hire David, and skimp on everything else. Nothing else is as important as the atmosphere, energy and the fun at your wedding. Thanks David!!!!
