Sushi Sasa's Ankimo was recently listed as a top 100 must eat in Denver, so I ordered it and reviewed it:
Foie Gras is not exactly the most popular of all delicacy dishes, and probably even less so when named “steamed monkfish liver” – so I wouldn’t expect massive appeal, but it was very nice. Three rich, creamy and flavorful medallions that melt in your mouth. The other components on the plate suited it perfectly I thought, balancing each bite. Was it amazing? No - but I’m not obsessively into foie gras like others may be. Still very good.
